How-to Video: Altered Gum Pack Valentine Treat Notes

I'M BACK!!!!  Oh wow....my event kicked my boo-tay and pooped me out...my body was screaming for some sleep but I kept going and going and...well....ended up getting sick <sniff sniff>.  Finally had time yesterday to catch up on the zee's so was feeling quite energized for you today...SO energized I did a how-to video for you =)

Here's how it all began.  Yesterday I was in my car, blowing my nose and thinking of something different I could make for my hubby this year for Valentines. I love doing the coupon thang - you know? - "This coupon entitles you to a foot massage" ohhhh yeah, I would sooooo love to get that one!  As I was chompin' on some Trident gum, it POPPED into my head like a bubble gum splat and BAM here it is......

Paper:  Stampin Up! Whisper White, Stampin Up! Bermuda Bay & Dollarama Designer Paper
Ink:  Bermuda Bay Pad & Basic Black Marker
Cricut Cartridge:  Wild Card
Punch:  3/4" Circle

How-to Video: Valentines Milk Carton

Stampin' Up! has a mini milk carton die cut for the Big Shot, but in all seriousness-ness, it's just as easy to cut and score your own which is what I did.  BUT...to make it even easier & FREE for you, I threw together a template for ya to print here Download Mini Milk Carton Template...I luv u guys...how could I not ;)

Here's my vid on how after a skip, hop and a jump it all came together...haha...such dancer talk!  Then I popped in some scrumptious hershey hugz & kisses....after somehow a few miraculously ended up in my mouth...haha...and I'll be giving this sweet treat to my cutie-pah-tootie =)  All though, I'm pretty sure they'll all end up in my tummy once he opens it....ohhhh how i luv me some chocolate!

Stampin Up! MEGA MEETING!!

Saturday, January 30th, 2010 - MEGA MEETING

Crystal, her mom Teresa and myself went to the Stampin' Up! Mega meeting on Saturday. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!! It is really neat to see what other crafters are doing - its a great way to meet other like minded people and share our creativity.

Was it ever a fast paced day! With only 6 minutes to work on each project, we did a total of 15 Make and Takes and WOW's - we learned some really cool new techniques! I have NEVER made cards so fast in my entire life, lol.

Not only did we get to create new projects, but we also got to SWAP! The more card fronts you make, the more you can swap with others. There are some seriously creative people out there! Here are just a few of my favs (there were so many, but I couldnt fit them all in a picture!)

Froggie Sweet Treats Valentines Card

I was SOOOO excited for those sweet treat cups to arrive from Stampin' Up! and was really happy with the way it turned out.  I made this cute frog card for our Valentine's Craft Class, we had soooo much fun with everyone and I think everyone squeeled like a little girl just as I did when they saw their froggies come to life...haha  We really have THE BEST girls that come to our classes....xoxo ladies!

Now, of course I had to share my how-to video with my favourite bloggers =)  Let me know if there was any squeeling going on...hehe

WOW....where do I start?  So much goodness for you today =) 

How about the big announcement since I'm such a kid right now and wanna BLURB it out!  No, I'm not pregnant...haha...I know you were thinking it =)  We have the most INCREDIBLE  stars flying into town just for my 2some Dance event from "Dancing with the Stars" and "So You Think You Can Dance".  Mark Ballas, 2-time Dancing with the Stars Champion will be dancing & singing for us.  Chelsie Hightower, top 10 finalist on So You Think You Can Dance and joined Dancing with the Stars in Season 8 will be performing.  Dmitry Chaplin, top 10 finalist on So You Think You Can Dance and 2nd Place Finalist with Mya in Season 9 on Dancing with the Stars will be teaching and performing for us.  WOW....what a line up!  We also have Jean-Marc Genereaux and France teaching (judge on So You Think You Can Dance Canada) and can't forget my bro Clyde Alves from Broadway who's gonna sing for us....sooo excited he'll be joining us and sharing his talents with everyone!

How-to Video "Faux Wax Seal" Valentines Card

First, I want to say AVATAR!!!  Rediculously amazing!  The hubby and I saw it in 3-D Digital and will be watching it again in the IMAX with the fawja (father..lol) I know, hardcore.  I love love love artistry on the big screen, and speaking of love...

I wanted to try something different with embossing powders and decided to create a Faux Wax Seal on this Valentines Card  <sigh>  love! I melt to my knees when I do valentines projects.  I love, love...tee he  I really liked the way this turned out, I just might start adding them to seal my envelopes, how cute!
