A quick post today. Not much going on in my brain at the moment besides the fact that I'm exhausted and keep looking up at my bed in the big bubble coming from my head. Total daydreaming going on.
So here's a super fast LO (still from my honeymoon). We LOVE Greece!!
Leave a comment if you're curious as to what supplies were used. Yup, I'm even too tired to list them. Yawn. ;-)

We started our prenatal classes this weekend....umm....interesting. The best part was facing each other and both of us panting..."he he huu...he he huu" Why were we the only ones laughing??? Maybe because we could smell what each of us ate for breakfast...lol
I think the highlight of Ben's day was when we watched the delivery of a baby on a BIG flat screen TV....HAHAHA It was hilarious watching all the guys turn their heads. Sure, may be funny now, not so sure I'll be laughing when my buddha plans on joining the world =)
Well...at least we got the breathing down packed, although, I think we already had previous experience from our Honeymoon where we stuffed our faces with European deliciousness and had to take slow deep breaths, lol. Here in Greece, we couldn't get enough of our Greek Salads...YUMM!!!
My apologies for the terrible lighting.

As usual, we had a blast with our crafting divas on Saturday during our Halloween technique class. Making a 12 x 12 layout and 2 treat bags/boxes.
Akiko's broom treat bags & mummy boxes were a huge hit, some ladies even left to go make more at home...love it!
And I've fallin madly in love all over again...with the Paperdoll Cricut Cartridge (sorry babe). This cartridge has pretty much EVERYTHING! My mom picked it up at Michaels for $29...whaaaat! The spooky fence is from this cartridge and used Lyrical Letters cartridge for the font. Stampin Up! has the most adorable halloween stamps & designer paper. I used the Wicked Cool clear mount set, Web Wheel and the Wicked Fun Designer Paper. Was so much fun using these. Can't tell in the pic but I also used crystal effects on the witch hat & boots....aren't those boots so darn cute?
RECIPE:
Paper (SU!): Old Olive, Cajun Craze, Whisper White, Basic Black & Wicked Fun Designer
Stamps (SU!): Wicked Cool clear-mount & Web Wheel
Inks (SU!): Cajun Craze, Rich Razzleberry & Basic Black
Punches (SU!): Curly Label, Large & Small Oval
Cricut: Paperdoll & Lyrical Letters cartridges
Other: Stampin Up! brads and crystal effects

Ding Dong!!! The bell rings and my mother and brother come in bearing gifts and a feast. What's the special occasion? Nothing. Just pure kindness =)
Watching me outgrow ALL of my clothes as my buddah grows, my mother bought me a whole new preggo wardrobe to last me till the end. Spoiled! And following all that gift opening fun we feasted on pizza and parmesan & teriyaki wings from Wild Wings....Mmmmmm, my preggo fav! And we must top it off with a chocolatey delight, frozen McCain cake....I'm in love. Was such a treat to hang with my hubby, bro and mom last night. My favourite thing to do, stay home in cozy clothes and hang with the ones you love.
A quick LO to share from my honeymoon. Another from Greece. Fun new stuff to play with, Smooch Spritz from Stampin Up! I love the super fast effect it created on very vanilla cardstock. A few spritz's of Log Cabin & Gold Glow and voila, a beautiful metallic-ie effect. I know, my ribbon's all wrinkled...wah
RECIPE:
Paper (SU!): Very Vanilla, More Mustard, Chocolate Chip and Bashful Blue
Cricut: Teardrop Cartridge
Other: White Uni-bal Signo Gel Pen from SU!, Dollarama Rhinestones and random ribbon scraps and chipboard
VOTE FOR AMANDA TONIGHT!!!!!

Now this is a story! As you probably know, Ben and Crystal put together a wicked dance workshop once a year, with top dance stars teaching ballroom and latin classes for ALL levels. (check it out at www.2somedance.com for more info - the next event is coming up in February!!!)
Corey and I always go to support our best friends, and because they are so freakin awesome! I dance ALL DAY for 3 days straight, completely exhausted at the end. But its so great to get together with other dance crazies!
So for the event in August of 2009, Corey had told me that Crystal asked him to be in a performance that she was putting together for the show (Crystal is a choreographer - and a damn good one!!!) I was SO thrilled for him. How much fun is that!?!
On the night of his big performance, he was cool as a cucumber. Not a bit nervous! I couldn't wait to see him get on stage and do his thing.
The time has come for him to do his performance, and I have to say it is the most hilarious routine I have ever seen!!!
Crystal did a spoof on Cell-Block tango from the movie Chicago called "Cellulite Tango". She re-wrote the lyrics, recorded them with her mom and sister, and choreographed a dance to coincide. Talk about talent! It was so AWESOME!
Corey was the last jailbird named "Meatball" - and at the end of his big song and dance, he proposed to me in front of 300 people. I was so shocked and happy and amazed all at once. What an unforgettable night.
Here are the first 3 layouts of the routine:

Mrs. Preggo is loving leftovers right now. Stuff my face and not have to cook? Heaven if you ask me =) We had lots of leftovers from our Scrapping Potluck this past Saturday. Akiko and I started at 9am straight thru to 12am...yee ha! We call them scrapping potlucks because if no one brings food, we forget to eat. Hey, scrapping is serious biz naz just like my Monkey Biz Naz LO below. Wanna get rid of your scrapping leftovers? Throw together a page like this with random flowers and buttons. It's quick and gets rid of that stash you've had forever.
Here I'm crossing my fingers for this cappucino to give me any sign of a bowel movement - yup, bowel movement...haha and Ben is just playing GQ. The monkey was our favourite towel animal our room keeper made, luv it.
So what are your ideas of using leftovers?
Amanda was ridiculous last night on SYTYCD Canada. The quickstep is one of the hardest dances to perform as a ballroom dancer, and being a contemporary dancer she looked INCREDIBLE as usual =) Who's your favourite dancer?

Can I just start off by saying that I had the most WICKED bridal party EVER!!!!! They all went above and beyond to make my shower extra special. When I first walked into my mom's house (My moma is such a FABULOUS host!) My breath was literally taken away. It was so special, the decorations were AMAZING and the FOOD! So much delicious food.....mmm....
This was my cover page. I used whisper white SU cardstock and stamped it with french filigree in teal, and a clear damask stamp in black to create my own patterned paper.
The tissue flower, picture of us and title "Corey and Akiko the perfect pair" were all decorations from my shower (I held on to a lot of decor!!! It was too cute to throw away)
I left a white tag to write the date (I still havent done that!! Terrible) and I think I may go over the title "Bridal Shower" in white pen. What do you think?
I absolutely LOVE THIS PAPER!! Its called "Presto Patterns" by Stampin Up. Its white paper and when you ink it, an image magically appears. SO SICK!!! I used Razzleberry ink on the paper and again, tissue flowers from the decorations.
Chocolate and Cupcakes and Cookies...OH MY!!!
This page was a lot of fun to make. I used a stampin Wheel from SU for the patterned background (black ink on teal paper), and rich razzleberry ink on the whisper white paper for the other background stamp. The tissue flower and cupcake tags were saved from the decor. I also glittered up the C in chocolates with Martha Stewart glitter.
Again, my favorite PRESTO PATTERNS PAPER! This time I sponged on both razzleberry and teal ink, to give a nice tie die effect. This page displays my awesome family, who for some we only see twice a year. So it was nice to break out of the normal routine and see eachother at my shower!
Me and my Twin the lovely Maid of Honor......TIFFY!!!!!!! Love ya :)
