Now that I am finally finished my Japan scrapbook, I can move on to other old memories - which are fun exciting NEW pages!
On Saturday during our Crop-a-thon, I created a LO of my first Christmas with my fiance and my family.
for the background I used a holly stamp on the grey paper (both from Stampin Up) and the snowflake paper is from the christmas collection by Stampin Up. I got the blue glittered snowflakes from Michaels ON SALE! The ornament punch and stamp set is from Stampin Up as well.
The big circle is a neat story - I got a box of Godiva Chocolate for Christmas 2 years ago, and on the box was this beautiful stencil of holly leaves and reindeer. I cut it out of the box and used it for this LO! I just laid it over white paper and sponged ink over it - A LOT OF INK. But what a pretty result!
As some of you already know, my brother Clyde and his wife Robyn, live in NYC as Broadway Stars, my sister Tessa has lived in Stratford for 3 years performing in theatre, my brother Marcel works the night shift...and the list goes on with the 'rents. Time together doesn't come easy for us, but THIS XMAS we enjoyed Sweet FamilyLove with ALL...<smiles>
We're all pretty crazy goobers, but I think that "extra" insanely Hilarious side comes out when the fam is complete. I mean, really...how many families do you know stand up and act out a full scene between each unwrapping of a gift? Yup! crazy =P
Want to give a gift that will make a real and lasting difference in someones life? Give something to someone who has nothing but hope!
A friend of mine introduced me to an incredible way to give this holiday season, through CBM (Christian Blind Mission). When you give a gift through CBM’s Online Gift Catalogue on behalf of a loved one, you’re changing the world for a child, mom or dad, or family that’s wrestling with the burden of poverty and disability. Whether your want to spend $3 or over $100, every gift will change someones life. I think these make FANTASTIC stocking stuffers or even just plain ol' gifts. I'll be buying Vitamin A and mosquito nets for as many as I can. Click on the links to see exactly how these gifts give.
I'm early for our date! Well, better early than late again...hehe

Crystal and I went to a wonderful Christmas Crop 'til you Drop with the Halton-Peel Scrappers and Stampers Meet-Up Group. We had such a good time!! Thank you so much Karyn for hosting and creating such an inviting space for us :)
During our scrapping fiesta, we were discussing Christmas trees and one of the lovely ladies had requested that I post a picture of my tree on the bloggie. So here it is!
I have a more modern style tree, not your traditional colors :)
Okay, I LOVE this cute little guy. I got the idea from the Stampin Up! website and modified it a bit. This Top Note Die Cut is the BEST purchase I've ever made (besides my cuttlebug, cricut and my carousel organizer on my desk...ha). I use this die cut in so many different ways....hmmm...maybe I'll do a post just on how verstaile it is =) I'm planning on making a bunch of these and giving them out for Christmas with homemade treats inside.
I taught this at one of our classes and someone said it would be perfect to use as a place setting with their napkin tucked inside....I LOVE CREATIVITY!!!! check out Krista's cute take on the box HERE
I would love to hear what else you think you could do with this project, maybe I'll do a giveaway on someone's comment...who knows?? Tell me your ideas...
Phew, my feet are finally free from its corset. High heels for 13 hours is a definate no no. Instead of shaping my hour glass torso, I thought I'd shape my feet into desirable arrow toes...hahaha Let's just say I need a foot spa right about now.
What a great sale going on at Michaels. All their scrapbooking storage is 55% off, oh yeah! Got a storage cube for $17 and some cropper hopper paper holders for $15 each...YOWZERS!! Awesome deal. Even better, all Cricut cartridges are 60% off and the list goes on. Check out the ad HERE, sale ends Friday..hurry!
AWESOME deal going on at Stampin Up! You can get great stuff for up to 50% off. Check it out HERE and let us know if you need anything. Sale ends November 30th. Have never seen Stampin Up! do this kind of sale. I'm making my list. Love it!
This Christmas card is quick, easy, and unique. It's a perfect card to do if you have paper scraps that you want to use up, or have limited time and need a Christmas card right away! I got this idea from a fellow scrapping blogger, I just altered the look a little bit.
Hello card makers! Have last minute Christmas or Holiday cards to make? No worries....Crystal's 5 minute card is here, hehe (well, the video is almost 10...but I know it could be done in 5...if I weren't so picky...sheesh) It is made from only Stampin Up! punches and is super easy. Got the idea from another Stampin Up demonstrator, can't find her site right now but will link it up here when I do. Did this card for our Christmas Card Class last weekend (will be posting up pics of class soon)
Yay! It only took me ALL DAY to figure out how to get these videos up here...lol...I'm a pro now =)
Was up REAL early for the So You Think You Can Dance Canada auditions this morning, it was extremely cold and a major shortage on dancers auditioning this year...that's okay....better chance for my studens...tee hee. Austin from Season 2 was a student of mine, SO rooting to have another one on Season 3..wohoo Off to go watch some So You Think You Can Dance (American show) - judging is much more entertaining.
