The Mask-edition
Okay, so I went a little Musical on you....sorry but I just couldn't help it! It seemed so fitting :)
I've done very little for the mask making, but I did start! I painted the dowels and started getting all my tools and supplies ready to go for the mask making extravaganza in April - WOHOO! I am uber excited 'bout that!
The paint I used is an interior paint and primer in one by Behr. The paint only takes about an hour to dry, so you can flip the dowels to paint the other end fairly quickly. The hardest part of this was figuring out how to get the dowels free standing to dry.... a great tool to use is flower foam, used to create floral arrangements. I only had a bit of it so I had to fashion another "drying rack"...Hey, anything to get the job done!
Just a few pics of the painting process:
I am also Happy to say that I finally found a father/daughter Dance song!!!!! YAAAAAY!! After months of searching, it is finally over. Now, to the choreography....
