Yay! After so many neutral toned spreads, I was so excited to do this colorful layout! I had purchased my Disney Cricut Cartridge just for this page (I got it on sale), and it added that special touch.

I used Stampin' Up cardstock - I use Stampin' Up cardstock all the time because they have the best color selection, which coordinates with all their inks, ribbons, buttons, etc. - Everything matches! Makes for super easy page planning.

I got the polka dot paper from a paper pack at Costco - 300 sheets for $10! Can't go wrong!

This Pop-up Present card was a lot of fun to make, and its so simple. It contains the element of surprise when you open it!

I used Stampin' Up! Paper, Ink Pads, and Stamps.

Please forgive my voice, I was sick when I recorded this so my voice sounds very weak :(....not even a cold can keep me from crafting!! LOL

Embellishment CRAZY!

This LO I decided to go Embellishment CRAZY... well, mainly flower crazy! This castle was my favorite in Japan (I actually did 7 pages of this castle alone because I had over 50 photos of it!)

This is my opening page to my second Japan scrapbook.

I used a "Far East" paper pack that I got as a gift, you can get it from Michaels. Most of the flowers and leaves are Prima, with Stampin' Up Brads.

Japan Trip: Nijo-jo Castle

Thought I would post this LO, I love the colors! The picture of my sister in front of the castle door inspired me for this spread. I loved the texture of the door and the rich color contrast of the brown to her bright pink top.

I used Stampin' Up! Cardstock, some beautiful ribbon and Martha Stewart Glitter to make the blue text border really pop.

Barcelona, Spain

So I'm at work right now waiting for my next class and thought, hell, since I'm waiting......why not post a little something for you =)  This is another LO from my honeymoon (you'll be seeing a lot of these) I absolutely LOVED LOVED LOVED the shopping here in Barcelona.  I want to go back just to buy more clothes, I know, how typical, HA!  Once again I used paper from K & Company by Amy Butler "Belle" collection...wicked paper, and after a long search for fake twigs at a decent price, I thought, yup, I'll just grab a FREE twig from a tree out front.  Can't beat that price!

NARA

This 2 page spread is part of my Japan trip in 2007. We went to visit a smaller town called Nara, where deer are domesticated and roam the streets. Aren't they cute?

I found these colors worked nicely with the color of the deer, and I ran some pieces thru the Cuttlebug to create different textures. I used Stampin' Up! Cardstock and other designer paper to create my own square pattern. The great thing about this pattern is that the squares are all different sizes, which allows you to play a bit more and not have to worry about exact measurements. I was never one for math, and I like asymmetrical designs, so I had a lot of fun doing this spread!
